Not every processor fits neatly into standard polymer categories. Some of you need a specific grade that falls between our listed materials. Others are trialling new feedstock streams or need a UK source for an unusual specification. This page is for you.
We source across a wide network of UK MRFs, PRFs and waste management operators. If material exists in the UK supply chain, we can find it and assess it. We will give you an honest answer on whether we can source what you need, and if we cannot, we will tell you quickly rather than wasting your time.
The following are examples of non-standard materials we have sourced or assessed for processors in the past. This list is not exhaustive. If your requirement is not listed, get in touch.
Post-consumer and post-industrial PS packaging. Limited UK volumes but available from specific sources. Contact us for current availability.
PET thermoform trays sorted separately from bottle streams. Availability depends on MRF sorting capability. Composition and contamination levels vary by source.
Silage wrap, crop cover and other agricultural LDPE films. Often require wash-grade processing. Available seasonally from UK farm waste collections.
Factory production waste from UK manufacturers. Clean, single-polymer streams when available. Volumes and materials vary. Contact us with your requirements.
If you have a particular polymer, grade, colour or specification requirement that is not listed anywhere on our site, get in touch. We will assess feasibility and come back to you with an honest answer.
It depends on the material. Some non-standard streams (like PET trays or agricultural film) have reasonably consistent UK volumes. Others are genuinely sporadic. We will be upfront about what we can and cannot guarantee before you commit to anything.
Yes. For new or non-standard materials, we typically start with a trial load so you can assess the material in your process. If it works, we agree ongoing terms. If it does not, there is no obligation to continue.
Same process as our standard materials. Bale breaks, visual inspection, loading photographs and sampling where needed. For unfamiliar materials, we may arrange a sample bale to be sent ahead of a full load so your lab can test before committing.
Post-Brexit logistics and customs clearance handled by proven partners. You choose self-clearance or Reef-managed T1 declarations and import clearance via established hauliers. Delivered DAP to your facility.
Complete DAP delivery: material, freight, export customs, T1 documentation (if borders crossed), and import clearance. Waste plastics carry zero duties.
