Since 2014, Reef has managed the full logistics chain for recycled plastic shipments from UK suppliers to European processors. Export customs, T1 transit, import clearance and Annex VII documentation handled on every load.

Post-Brexit shipping from the UK to Europe involves export declarations, import clearance, transit documentation and waste shipment paperwork. We manage all of it so you do not have to.
Every shipment is cleared through UK export customs before it leaves. We work with our customs agents to prepare declarations, ensure correct commodity codes are applied and confirm clearance before the truck reaches the port.
For shipments moving through EU transit countries, we arrange T1 transit documents. This allows material to move across borders without stopping for clearance at every frontier. The T1 is closed at the destination country where import clearance takes place.
We can manage your import customs clearance on your behalf, or you can use your own customs agent. Both options work. We provide all the documentation your agent needs, including commercial invoices, packing lists and Annex VII forms.
Every shipment of waste plastic packaging requires an Annex VII document under the EU Waste Shipment Regulation. We prepare this for every load, ensuring it is completed correctly with the right waste codes, recovery operation codes and facility details.
We hold signed Green List contracts with every customer, as required for shipments of non-hazardous waste for recovery. These contracts are in place before the first load ships and cover the obligations of both parties.
Trucks are weighed before departure. Loading photographs are taken for every shipment. These records confirm material quantity and presentation, and are available to you on request.
